Hi all,
So I haven't been following this thread much, but when Carrie Fisher passed a lot of people on fb changed their profile pics to Mitchell's portrait of Leia from Hoth in ESB. Does anyone know if this portrait was approved and if Mondo will be running a timed edition any time soon? I'm also curious if the approval process got hindered by her passing and the estate probably having to approve it?
I am hoping it gets printed, or if anyone knows about any more SW portraits coming soon? I'd love to see/hear about any teases. Apologies if I am being too lazy to look back in the thread further.
Thanks for your help.

No direct info.

But it is usually around this time in the month where new portraits get announced.

I would assume we would hear about it tomorrow if so.

No info on approval process.

I think he has 4 or 5 left. And there will a retrospective show at the gallery around the time of SXSW.

I thought he said recently on Twitter that he was going to keep the series going. Hopefully he will because I need a Salacious Crumb portrait.

i would say its imminent due to the fact there is not a print announced for a drop today. But again. Could be totally wrong. It has been known to happen.

I think the series was initially said to be around two dozen portraits. I'm pretty sure we'll see more than 4 or 5 more.
