Mike Mitchell's Thread of Amazing Things
Was stoked that he did the doobie bird when I was on break. Went into work shortly after and kinda bummed to get out and see he caved, only cuz he seemed bummed when it hit 50... sure it's not ideal to have more... meh. Not a big deal tho.
Anyone catch earlgreytoast freaking out at the start of the stream and getting booted. Hahaha. So salty.

Whoa, wut? I was at U2 at MetLife when all this was going down, although I did see the email and bought a cardinal while he was sketching. Do I have an impersonator out there?! Story time for sure!

still jealous, but still
I was certain the topic would be MM's obvious obsession with Cardinals. 4 Cardinals and no Eastern Bluebird...sad.

Not 100% sure why I bought a Doobie bird but I think being 5 deep after work for my friend's birthday may have had something to do with it though.

He put it up for sale for just 5 minutes about a third of the way into the broadcast, when it was still in the rough stages. After the 5 minutes he removed it from the shop, turned off the "doobie" layer, and continued working on the bird. Then came back towards the end, and turned the layer back on to finish off the variant.applehead wrote:So when was the doobie variant available to buy? I was there when he was drawing that part, and even refreshed hiss ale page but never saw that version available for purchase. Story time please?
