Maybe for the Fat Birds of Australia series?
I much prefer the regular gouldian finch. drymounting useless birds though - whenever there would be a cold snap they'd all just up and die. Dead finches on lawns for ages.

I think I've said this before, but I'd buy the following Aussie birds if they ever became available (can't link pictures as am at work):

Willy Wagtail
Red Tail Black Cockatoo

i know its absurdly late but if anyone wants to grab me that Desert Cardinal at MondoCon i will love you forever (and of course paypal you funds immediately). just taking a shot in the dark.

Warbler landed here today. It is my first fat bird and i have to say they look great in person. So much life in the eye! :clap:

I'm getting in line for the Desert Cardinal... I put out some feelers on FB and got a maybe, but that didn't pan out. I won't bore with the why, but it'll will be very well received by my family.

I'd like to trade the Mitchell Uno Ken Griffey Jr. JLU variant straight up for it. I can add a couple bucks for a tip as well.
