Hello, new member here!
Hello everyone, just wanted to say hi as I am new to this site.
So I wouldn't consider myself a big collector of posters, but I have been picking some up at shows I go to. Only have 6 or 7 right now, but after looking at some artists, and this site, there are some absolutely amazing artists and prints out there.
I actually also just picked up a print for the movie The Fountain, which I absolutely love!
Anyways, I thought I'd share a few of my favorites from my collection and ask if anyone has any advice for someone that's new to this stuff. I don't have a lot of money, but I'd like to build up a little collection.
Thanks!
-Andy

If you like having money, stay far away from here...

and this will be you staple meal 6 nights out of 7.
and remember Just enjoy the hobby - and don't take crap from anyone on here.
BTW that My Morning Jacket one is a nice looking poster.

If i did that I would be living in the gutter. I wish I was even more selective, like one print every 1-2 months. Less if you are going after a big ISO. But everyone caves.jsan20 wrote:Buy 1/10th of what you like on this site.
Thank you! I appreciate that.duckyhoward wrote:Welcome Andy - and happy collecting mate. As some of the guys have said if you aren't careful with this hobby - this is what you may be doing all to often.

So far everyone has seemed pretty cool, so that's good!
Anyone have any other suggestions? I've been liking a lot of Spusta's stuff, as well as Levinson. Just looking for some more artists who I might find interesting!

Welcome to EB. Rule 1 is don't buy everything you like... buy what you love and the occasional 'guaranteed' big-flip to feed the habit/hobby (see Olly Moss Star Wars, etc.). Rule 2 is remember this is an internet forum so don't take anything personal and don't be afraid to call a douche a douche. Rule 3 is enjoy...art is the best spread for your head and makes for a warm heart

Its imperative that you make sure you make it abundantly clear that whatever you plan on buying will be instantly sold with a significant price bump on eBay.
