They could have 2 copies but didn't want to bother photographing them both.

I contacted the guy a few weeks ago over the Conklin one and that was not his response - he said that he posted the photo by mistake and that the listing was actually for an unsigned handbill.

It seems odd that, if the sigs were faked, he would sign them in exactly the same way. Especially Lee's, which is very prominently placed and sized. I wouldn't be surprised if he had more than one signed poster and used your pic for the new one - especially as it looks like he just left for vacation and probably didn't bother to take new pics before leaving. Just a speculation. Some good looking choices anyway.

Edit: I see what you mean. Your poster's sig looks different from Lee's sig in the listing. Still wouldn't doubt that he brought a few for Lee to sign and just used one pic for all listings. Not great to do when condition varies so much with these older Fillmore posters.

Believe me I hope my suspicions are wrong because I love these handbills but somethings not right. The weird part is he has relisted the Conklin piece many times since he sold me mine - how many signed copies does he have? Also the photos are of the actual pieces I received so I'm wondering why would he use them again?

Bought this handbill as well. If anyone can comment on the authenticity of the signatures I would appreciate it.

Thanks, good to know. Hopefully he can post photos of the same handbills with signatures that aren't exactly the same.

the second santana listing says its just the handbill and doesn't say "SIGNED BY LEE CONKLIN" on the title. he just got lazy and used "sell similar item" when he listed a new one.
