Lowest price: $500

For a regular edition. Not even the variants. New record set, Chuck.

Slightly higher edition size on the regulars too, unless he raised it to 200 previously.
Though who knows what price they’ll level off at. I guess a dearth of new releases is driving up interest.
I mean maybe it's lack of new releases and this is a REALLY good portrait.

That’s gonna be a problem. Having had two converters stolen the third one has a hardened metal cage welded around it. But maybe for the Black Satin I would take a cutting grinder to it for the trade.

^ If no cat, I will take that Dryad test print of yours. This is the final offer.

Seriously though, the cat being stolen twice from the same vehicle is pretty crazy. I have only heard stories of them being stolen, but yours is the first one to repeat twice. I know a guy who lost the tailgate on his truck to theft twice though.

both my friends in sf had theirs stolen from their priuses. i guess it's a thing there these days. amusingly i was sleeping on the couch the day my friends wife went outside to find out it had happened. pretty insane they are worth that much to be stealing. figure anyone will do anything to survive in that city these days.

A WST article indicated a thief might score $150 - 200 for each converter at a salvage yard, often going out of state for the transaction. Apparently in a converter there’s roughly two-grams of harvestable palladium, a byproduct of platinum, that’s quite valuable.

It’s like people breaking a window to take $10 that was left on the seat.

The guy with two tailgates stolen I mentioned above is the same thing. Amazingly, the tailgate for his truck costs something like $9K (I don’t remember the exact number and could be off by a K or 2) at the dealer plus labour to install it. I doubt the thief can sell it for more than a few hundred on the “aftermarket”.

I guess it keeps the economy going, lol.

I'd like to read that order cancellation email and response and assume the buyer will leave negative feedback when enough time has allotted for them to leave it.
