Did the same...I got to the edge of the bridge but did not jump...Whitey9457 wrote:First Sperry I passed on with some confidence and feel... ok about. Once I cross the line into skateboards I'm not sure where it ends... Gotta keep my limited funds focused where it counts (prints and frames).

It was a coin flip for me too.. But I chose to buy. I Guess I'm just too big of a Sperry fan to have passed but I thought about it. I hear you about crossing into other mediums though. I have a Sperry frisbee so I already broke that barrier. Now I can skate while playing frisbee!Whitey9457 wrote:First Sperry I passed on with some confidence and feel... ok about. OT but... I snowboard pretty often in the winter. I could never get the hang of skateboarding as a kid so I gave up on it. My son has one of those Razor Ripstiks that you sort of twist to move. I tried to just cruise in the driveway on and it busted my ass hard. Falling on concrete sucks way more than falling on snow, or ice (which is not much fun either).RiotAct wrote:dutchflowers wrote:I think my wife will kill me if I try to learn how to skateboard.
I've sort of half-heartedly tried taking up longboarding for the summer months...but I just can't find the time to really go for it.
