Wow, just caught up on this thread...made me tired
Congrats to Squirt and Ken for a good show...
I think stuckeyc summed it up well above

My rate is $350 per day until the day of the show, then it goes up to $100 per hour the last 5 hours before opening. I'm well versed on Chick Sperry.

In a certain sense that's a drymounting accomplishment here these days.

It's been a huge problem since artists have decided it's a good idea to talk to the real fans in facebook groups and what not.

I'm fairly certain that it isn't the real fans that are the cause. Well, maybe by complaining, but we all know the real reason that caused the problem. If the mule/gangs and bot/gangs don't want to take responsibility for this...I don't care, really. Seems silly to place blame elsewhere, though.

I think Chuck is entitled to not have his new works of art unsuccessfully prostituted on Ebay for absurd amounts of money.
Maybe Spoke should charge $2000 per panel and put the money in the pockets of the people who take the real risks- the artist and gallery owner.

Pretty sure they've weighed their options and determined that how they do it is the best way to handle it all things considered. They're smart guys, and they've done plenty of shows. Just sucks to strikeout on these beauties. Hopefully next time.

Yeah! The firefighters and first-responders should get all the panelz!

Camping in the rain seems pretty risky. Could get pneumonia amirite.

And Agape is the unquestionably the best and only panel to covet.
