That was a mess. 503 errors everywhere. Finally got the site to reload and gone. Never even remotely had a chance.

Oh well... win some lose some...

Terrible. I got a paypal error "due to a problem with the sellers website." I'm ok with not being fast enough but I don't like to lose to website errors.

It looks like the Intagram widget on the page is broken. Just spins and spins and never loads. I think that's why everything was glacial and error ridden.

Took several minutes to get a refresh, had to have multiple tabs going, at least I got the paypal button and was stuck in processing for a few minutes until site error. Wasn't even paying attention to price but think it was 75.

I think it's time for Sperry to move to Shopify and maybe mix up the times a bit. I know he says "random time", but everyone knows it's going to be at noon.

Especially without variants to spread the clicks around, this was a really tough one. Just simply way more demand than supply.

Run is what, 200 total? Assuming he only put a couple/few dozen up here at most. Bet there were at least a couple/few hundred people trying for them. I'm happy to have a shot (even though I never even saw a button) since I couldn't make the show. I scored on the last Sperry drop I attempted so can't be too bummed. Just gotta roll with it.

But yeah this a sweet score for those who got in. Congrats! This is one of his best chicks ever.... and TRPS is a cool event.

It'd be nice to see them dramatically expand the lottery numbers IMO.

A few factors led to way bigger lines than we've ever seen ...

1) Chris Shaw and Alex Fischer went on KTVU Friday morning and had a 4-5 minute segment about the festival. TRPS folks were saying the website got a ton of traffic and TRPS membership signups right after it aired. See here ---> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jzk8jJN ... e=youtu.be

2) Chuck's print was teased and then previewed in full after the "don't worry about getting there early" advice. I had no idea Chuck did the print when I was saying "eh, come at like 8:30 - 9, you'll be fine" in the TRPS thread.

This was my 11th TRPS and by far the most packed I've ever seen, and it was the classic poster collectors as well. As Corey alluded to above, Stanley Mouse had a line at least 10-15 deep the entire day, what a machine he was. I've never seen the classic artists have such deep pools of people consistently throughout the day.

The variant release at Chuck's booth around 1 PM ... that was frothy. There's a pretty insane panorama pic that'll get posted eventually of the folks 3-4 deep for the 270 degrees of Chuck's booth. It was nuts.

3) Mondos flying in from out of town.
Fixed.

Are weekend drops always like this? I've never seen the site slow down that much on a weekday.
