how do I get a very slight crease out of a print?

So I have a print, a relatively valuable one that has a very slight crease in it, possibly from being rolled too tightly (in shipping, i certainly didn't do it). The crease itself is roughly an inch and a half, two at the most and is very faint, I was wondering if anybody knows any tricks to make the crease less noticeable or to flatten it out. I should specify that calling it a "crease" is a little deceiving, its not as if it actually folded of anything, but it did leave a slight, yet discernible mark - a ripple in the prints surface if you will. Any input is appreciated...

Lay the print on a clean perfectly flat surface (mountboard is the best option) then lay a sheet of tissue on the print, then GENTLY massage/press the crease out with the back of a spoon. Takes some patience, expect to spend some time doing it. Don't rush it. Don't 'drag' or rub the spoon, or you'll polish/smudge the paper.

Those instructions are seductive.

Ooooh yeah. I got a semi by the time dragging the spoon was mentioned.

Flattening a crease out of a print is very much like making love to a beautiful woman...

Warm iron, no steam, on flat surface, acid free paper between iron and back of print. Works like a charm.
