This is the reason I stopped buying her fudge. When you release something as a limited edition, and then release it as an open edition it kind of pisses off the people that shelled out the extra for the limited.
NOOOOOOOO!!!! drymount, I've been buying art that I like, don't tell me I've been doing it wrong.
I think the issue is that if all you cared about was the art, and really liked Big Bang Kiss, missed out on the drop, you shelled out 50%-200%+ more than the drop cost ($150) for the print. Then a week later you find out that you could have bought the same thing for $50 in an open edition.

The lesson learned is that if you don't care about resale value for her prints, just wait until the open edition comes around and save yourself some money, because there will probably be one. Plus you can usually get it on a pillow

At least on this one the limited edition was a silkscreen vs the open edition giclee. It's even more shady when they do a limited edition giclee and an open edition giclee.

We’ve made an incredible screen print from one of Lora Zombie's most popular recent images, Love Birds. Created with a hand pulled, four color screen printing process including an incredibly intense red ink, finished with a final layer of sparkly glitter that is truly dazzling in person. Lora’s screen print releases are rare and sought after as they are truly the next best thing to owning an original work, don’t miss out on this edition of just 49 prints releasing this Thursday, January 23rd, 2014 at 1pm EST for $179.99 each.

Any lady who can rock the blue hair and have a pet rat is alright in my book. Plus she's probably all kinds of freaky!
