Going to take a look at the painting Saturday. :D
Wanda: I can't stand people. I hate them. Do you hate them?
Henry: No, but I seem to feel better when they're not around.

In case anyone was wondering, this is the print in discussion:

This is a great painting but the word HUGS ruins it for me. Reminds of those idiots with "Free hugs" signs at shows.
It's "Hugs etc..."

I'm in fo sho!

I’d definitely be in for a print. No less than 30x40”, and would be happy to pay $150+ for it.
If it needs to be a larger print to preserve the detail, then raise the price to reflect that. Happy for the money to go to Esao.

I think you're way off at $150+. Gypsies was $120 at 18x24. We're probably talking $300 minimum for something 30x40 or bigger with a small run..

Scaled down to 50% it would have an image size of 39"x46.5". Add a border and round it to 40"x48". Gicleetoday has a quote of $90.29 ea on archival 290gsm for 50-99 copies. :hanging:

Scaled down to 37.5% it would be 29.25"x34.875" or 30"x36" with a border. More manageable of a size as we wouldn't need oversized shipping. Gicleetoday's price for 50-99 copies is $50.79 ea on the same paper.

Staticmedium would be a better bet for printing and photography but we gotta contact them for a quote.

To be honest there's going to be lost detail even at 50%

Yeah. I was thinking it'd cost like $500-600 all said and done. I do t think I'd want a $150 printing job on something that big.

It's actually 25%. Don't forget we're talking inches square, so a 2x2 (4 inches square) is 4 times smaller than a 4x4 (16 inches square).

Hm... it's worth the higher price point for the 40"x48", especially for this piece. Not sure how framing would go...
