Its gotta be on wood. I remember him saying that he doesn't like canvas because it doesn't have the same shine that layers of oil give a wood panel. Something about the fabric absorbing some of the paint makes it harder to layer the bright colors without it looking dull.

Nice, so Hangover III is an edition of 448 (944 total prints sold from what Esao said)
