Hush
Exactly the same as cktbreaker's. The paper that they used was about 12 inches too short for the tube they were in, plus the bubble wrap had completely slid down the tube on one end so the prints and paper (none between the two prints) were banging on the end of the tube. Upon closer inspection there was some very minor edge wear (about an inch) on one side. Not worth mentioning really, and it is already smoothed out. Overall the prints look fantastic!
That's good news. Still time to send them a couple of yazoo tubes, kraft paper and silk paper. and don't forget to send them this link.wenjamin wrote:no shipping notice yet for me either...soam24 wrote:chan011 wrote:anyone else receive their prints yet? hoping that whitewalls had a one off with the shipment of cktbreaker's prints
FYI Tova said that she has no extra prints so if there is damage, its a refund

So much for free shipping... would have paid a little more just to avoid all this BS.cybersushi wrote:received in Seattle from White Walls...not pleased.

agreed.
what kills me is that this is such a gorgeous print otherwise in person . he's really set a new standard for himself with it.

o heck no. im going to get someone to pick up my copies. forget this nonsense
I wish mine hadn't already shipped out, so I could have someone pick mine up also. I'm starting to prepare myself for the worst.chan011 wrote:o heck no. im going to get someone to pick up my copies. forget this nonsense
the problem is that the shipping tube it too large in diameter. I think its a 6 inch tube. and since these prints are varnished and not rolled tight enough, they are slippery. what is needed is shipping these in a 4" yazoo tube and roll it up and tape it so it's slightly smaller than the 4" tube. do it this way and I doubt a single person would've had a damaged print. these prints are beautiful.
