peeps don't know the price is part of the problem. many might bow out if it is priced too high for them. introspective colors HPM edition of 25 (30x43") was released in 2018 for $1.5K ... that would be a great price, imo but guessing GI will price much higher.

i don't think so. GI is running a wordpress site and shop. there was zero chance the site could hold up with heavy traffic & bots. hush said on his IG that they are trying to get it back online but who knows.

Now they're supposedly going to try again tomorrow. Anyone want to place odds that the "fix" doesn't do a damn thing? And yeah, you would think announcing the price would help cut down the traffic. I know full well it's going to be more than I want to spend, but I still have to refresh to see. I think it's a stupid game to play anyway when people don't include the price in the release announcement.

I don't mind the site crashing. We used to see it a few times a week. Good ol' days.
But the shenanigans of keeping the price a mystery up to the very last second is :vomit:
I'm guessing 2000 Euros fwiw.

beyond stupid to handle an edition of 27 via a shopify site. and they are probably brand new shopify admin so they won't know how to do anything to handle bot traffic.

shopify handles the bot traffic. there's nothing special you have to do as an admin. all shopify sites are hosted by shopify unless you build a custom site or use their api on an existing site.

lol... ya missed the point. it "handles" it meaning it's one of the most easily botted platforms. the supreme sneakerhead hypebeasters are gonna be all over this. GI just gonna post whatever inventory is left (maybe 10?) and be done with it.

yeah, pretty much. but does GI care who buys it, they get their money in the end? and i think $2k is a little above most sneaker heads. but yeah bots will get most likely take the majority of the loot if not all. selling on ebay thats $200 just in fees to resell it...
