Shady gallery. They've cancelled two orders of mine over the years with no explanation or apology. I was also told by an artist that he was unhappy about the gallery pre-selling almost all of their original works to french collectors before the opening of his show, after they said they wouldn't.
this is kind of what i was thinking. there'll probably be just 1-2 online to appease the masses and say it was rlsed for "fair" online. rest are most likely already sold. with a few held back for later.robertozanzi wrote: ↑Sat May 30, 2020 10:32 amShady gallery. got to checkout paypal page... and couldn't pull the trigger...
Couple new prints up and sold out. I really hate the game of not announcing the price ahead of time. The one at $400 doesn't surprise me. I just didn't think it was worth it. The one at almost $1000 is crazy for essentially the same print. I was hoping for one of the masked figures though. It would be more appropriate for the times and something a little different for him.

I wouldn't have been shocked to see the smaller one (Le Buste III, 21x21) be a little bit more expensive, I was ready for it, so as much as I hate the unannounced pricing, at least it was a nice surprise. Especially with worldwide shipping included. It almost seemed like a bargain.. not really, but pretty fair. GraffitiPrints has been charging for some time now 60 GBP for intl' shipping of their fat tubes alone.. now, that hurts. Agree on the bigger one (Le Buste I, 30x30) though. It didn't feel special enough. At that price, I would have wanted something more, hand painted background, hand applied leafing, hand finishing something.. not just square inches for the $$$.. Both images look sharp imo. Nice and clean Hush.

Weakest image he's put out in a while. Thought he said he was gonna start showing more eyes in his work. Was hoping it would translate to the prints too. Guess not.

Yep dodgy as - I’d say less than ten percent of these get to randos. I have even been bitter from ViP list and am OG Hush levels.robertozanzi wrote: ↑Sat May 30, 2020 10:32 amShady gallery. Well, I forgot about that release until today. Seems like a pretty decent price for a low edition on this artist. Anyone cop?
