Agreed. That's pretty cool. I'd love to know the story behind that.

Thanks! It was for the draw on your stuff/sh!t he did a while ago.

I shipped him 4 planks of reclaimed wood that we had left over from re-finishing the tops of a few nightstands. I assumed he would just affix them side-by-side and draw/paint something on them, that was his original plan as well. Turns out they had some finish on them at one time that prevented paint from sticking to it. He decided to cut/stain them and use them as the sides of the lightbox. He then made the etching for the front and a panel for the back. We tried a bunch of different light combos to see what would work best. This ended up, after a LOT of tries, being the best looking.

I'm sure if he pops in here, he will vouch for how big of a pain in the ass this turned out to be  :pint:

Yeah, it's definitely an incredible piece. I've seen a few pics, but nothing super detailed. Very killer.

It's been way to quiet in here lately. Need a Danger fix in a bad way.

idk, don't they have a project room in that gallery? That last tweet I thought might suggest he'll have a showing in that project space at the same time as the tiny trifecta. Could be wrong though.

It's a possibility (heck it's probably likely), I just don't know if I can handle that much insanity in one weekend.
