Daniel is the best. Dude is funny as fudge and not afraid to hang with us dorks. His art doesn't riff on anything. I love that he has his own mythology. Every piece of his I have starts a conversation when my friends and family see it. I know it isn't cool to be enthusiastic about anything these days but drymount that.

Maybe one day I will win on a scratcher and I can afford a big ass original. My dream is to commission him to do a piece of my grandmothers farm. Barn has fallen and another one on its way. The property is being over taken by millionaires moving to the country. I think he would be perfect to capture the spirit of the place.

Funny, my dream request was for him to do the farmhouse that used to be my wife's ancestral home. Like her grandparents and great grandparents lived there but had to sell it off to gypsies or something, and now it's not only in a state of decay but the whole damn roof is missing. Lotta strange vibes there between the family history and all the dead gypsies, I reckon.

I was talking to Daniel about this one and it actually came from a mistake with the stamp. Which I found really interesting on how he uses the "mistakes" of the stamp to create one of his best clayboards ever.
jkw3000 - Nobody ever really wins in this hobby.
Olly - I'm a hack asshole unable to provide you with what you want.

I saw him working on this one, I love the concept!

I heard that one of the boards got black fingerprints all over it due to a mishandling mishap by the owner though? :(

Anyone have a picture of the clayboard that had a black sky, star trails akin to daniel's "And I'll only feel smaller and smaller"? It looked fantastic. Jealous of that one for sure.
