I got a free app for android phones. Its called meteor shower calander and it is pretty useful. It shows the dates, size and frequency of the meteors. It also uses GPS to point you to the right spot in the sky to see the meteor showers too.
Seasky.org is pretty good too for info and dates such as eclipses and planet alignments.

Yea its pretty useful but good stuff only happens once every other month and most meteor showers are visible at like 3am.
Also an interesting permanent cosmodog exhibit is at the Museum of Jurassic Technology in LA. I met the guy that put the exhibit together and he is a really cool guy. Free tea and cosmodogs are on the second floor but they have other cool exhibits like micro sculptures, decaying marbles and human horns. Its not your average museum but its around the corner from Thinkspace and definitely worth stopping by if you like weird stuff.

i dont think its gonna be that bad. i picked one up.
figure the print is roughly 20 x 28. that makes the astronaut roughly 4" wide. if you are that close, might as well give him a kiss on the cheek while you're at it.
