This was created in collaboration with Saint Etienne and a portion of the map appears on the cover of the group's forthcoming album.

Half true, the maps are different, Saint Etienne commissioned the agency to recreate their artwork for the new album.

Interesting. Thanks for the correction. The album announcement email from the Saint Etienne folks reads "Maps are said to guide your life so we've got one to guide your musical life. Working with our friends at Dorothy on the album sleeve, we think we've come up with something pretty special." Sure makes it sound as if Saint Etienne was more heavily involved in the concept and design...

Was listening to an interview with them a few days ago on BBC 6music, apparently they got in touch with Dorothy who turned out to be fans so were happy to do it. The original map was made a while ago I think, I just looked it up after hearing the interview

iirc SE gave them the list of songs, and the map is a part of Croydon where they used to live, so for their version they most certainly were involved.
