Although in that top image you can see some of the GID layer (arrow streaks) which doesn't seem to be intentional unless I'm mistaken.
Nah, it's intentional... it was a trade off of having the arrow streaks being more dimensional versus have the GID layer be more hidden. The GID was feeling a bit flat to me and that helped, so I kept it... it ought not to be all that noticeable in person. Also, I find that in practice, it's best not to have a GID layer totally hidden. It's nice if someone notices a bit of something so that they ask, "what is that?" and then you can show them that it glows.

Also, very few APs(well, not really APs, just my chunk of the run)... around 20.

Makes sense and it really isn't that noticeable unless you shove your nose up into it.

The GID layer turned out amazing. You knocked both of your ASOIAF prints out of the park, sir!

Alright, I can't ignore it anymore, I need to read GoT.

Mark, you'll always be the master of GID.

Thinking I might be at this point too, I started and then put it down because I couldn't keep the characters straight in my head, too much life going on to devote to it. I keep thinking I should do it again.

Any chance you'll be doing sketches with the APs?

Martin Hammond, printer extraordinaire, sent this over to me today:

Image

Judging by this pics he sent me in the past, this will look stellar in person. He just uses an iphone under crappy lighting...

I had him print up a couple of black paper versions just to show the GID layer in the gallery. Not sure if they will be for sale at all.

Please make the dragons destroying the city as the GID layer...
