Announcing the second RWBY limited edition screen print
Thanks to everyone who bought Anne Benjamin’s poster this past Friday. I’m excited to show you the next release in our RWBY poster series. Today’s artist, Mark Englert, is one that was at the top of my ‘get’ list when Tim Doyle and I first sat down to talk about RWBY posters. We reached out to him, and it turned out that not only was he interested, he also happened to be a Rooster Teeth fan.
Mark started releasing posters a couple of years ago with a wintry poster based on The Thing. Since then, he’s done dozens of intricately detailed posters for all sorts of pop culture properties. His Jurassic World poster was a hot item at San Diego Comic Con earlier this summer and I love his Jaws Director Series print.
Here’s what Mark had to say about his RWBY poster: They are the darkness and we are the light.
“I would have to say that my favorite segments of RWBY are the fight scenes. The battle that has stuck with me is when the team really comes together and takes down that Nevermore. There's such a cool series of sequences that build up to Ruby being slingshot through the air towards the Grimm. It's the moment that pops into my head whenever I think about the show, which made choosing an image for my piece very easy.”
Mark’s print is an edition of 250, will be available at 4:00pm central time on Friday, November 21 and is a 6 color 12x36 print. $59.95. Numbered.
Here's Mark's print.
Go ahead, make my millennium.

I saw this earlier in the week and my daughter is a big Ruby fan but I'm on the fence about getting this as a Christmas present for her.
I've bought posters from RoosterTeeth a few times for my kids and they've always been shipped naked in a thin tube. Since those were all litho posters that was expected.
Anyone that sells 15,000-20,000+ posters in 24 hours is not in the mindset of shipping limited edition art prints in thick tubes with kraft paper.

WELL- this project is being headed up by a dude at Rooster Teeth who is a big poster collector, so I'm sure they're on it, regarding tubes. But it wouldn't hurt to shoot them an email to make sure, though.HappaHaoli wrote:I saw this earlier in the week and my daughter is a big Ruby fan but I'm on the fence about getting this as a Christmas present for her.

I will say, though- we're about 1/2 way through printing it right now, and it looks FANTASTIC.

I'm usually an englert fan but this image really doesn't do anything for me. I find the bird to be too big and it feels oddly photoshopped or something I can't place. I'm also lost on the reference. Finally, the people selling scare me as too how the print would be delivered. I'm a pass on this one.

I have ordered posters from Rooster Teeth with no problems.
RWBY is animated series they created. It's the first American animated series imported to Japan and dubbed with Japanese language
