Seems a bit pricey and I have to pass. Has he had any successful prints before 2012, or ever? To charge 150 out of the gate seems to be a bit too much for me. I just dont see this hanging on any wall I ever see either.

I think this new one got turned into a print because a lot of people, myself included, were asking for it. I'm sure if people discuss what they'd like to see as prints or email him and let him know he'll take it into consideration.
In the gallery some of the ones I'd like to see, counting from the first, are: 6, 8, 19, 28, and 33. But there are several more I'd consider buying as well.

Not seeing the man-hands myself. Man-hands where I come from are sun-burned, chapped, and calloused. These might be metrosexual man-hands (someone will need to confirm this for me) but they aren't Pennsylvania paper mill man-hands.
Wish the print was bigger for the price, but I like HAU's work and decided to give it a try. +1

I've read a few general comparisons of Uldalen's work with Geddes'. There are some common hallmarks but Uldalem's painting technique appears to be rather unlike Jem's. A bit looser, with somewhat less effort spent on meticulous realism.
As far as subject matter, Jem's work often feels suggestive of potential, a figure caught in the midst of some cryptic scenario or predicament.
Uldalen's work, esp. his female figures, appear VERY resolved to me. Their potential is gone. They don't appear dead so much as depleted. Like dried flowers.
