Oh ok, FTR, I have 3 Geddes :P , yes I was late to the show. Saw this and showed it to the wife and she liked it, so when she does, it's a go.

the title of the thread is "Geddes fans take a look"

that's why the comparison keeps coming up.

i agree, people can and should have different tastes when it comes to art. i've never tried to say nobody should like this work - but people keep mentioning how this is like geddes' work.

i simply don't see it. nobody has been able to address that

want to compare bank accounts, wives, and art portfolios?

It's fine to have a two page thread to say 'hey , if you like artist x, take a look at this...', but now that it has evolved into an legitimate thread, it's time to rename it. It is more respectful to the artist, as I'm pretty sure he wouldn't want to be labelled a derivative of someone else.

Looking forward to seeing his future work.

I hate to brag, but I only have one Geddes print. Yeah, I know.

FWIW: For all those comparing to Geddes, Henrik states in his bio he's not after photo realism, which is great, as It's always refreshing to have a collection of artwork of varying styles and thumbprints.

I love Henrik's surrealist style and I'm looking forward to his next print.

.... to something like " Henrik Aarrestad Uldalen : news and works ".

That would be a misleading thread title as well.

13 pages of information, misinformation, hype, and speculation involving a print, which some people think looks like a Geddes, by Henrik Aarrestad Uldalen.

Don't think that'll fit though.

I prefer both of those suggestions to mine.
