Knowing that it's a giclee, I find it slightly detracts from the image. What do you think of it?RupertPupkin wrote:Do you think the wood grain adds to or detracts from the image?dhokes wrote:I like it though I do wonder what it would have looked like if it wasn't done on wood.

I think that the wood grain adds to the image, but then the way she incorporates the grain of the wood into her paintings is one of the things I like about her work in general.
this aggression will not stand, man.
personally not a fan of wood grain printed on paper. but the image of the print in the frame being held by that person looks decent. makes me wonder if thats the original framed? last print i bought of hers with wood grain printed, well, i traded it and never really liked it (it was manic).

The photo you're referring to is the print. No photos of the original painting were used to promote the print sale. Well, unless you consider the fact that the print itself is a (super high res) photo of the original.

The framing option is always an expensive but top notch one.

The moulding were using this time is a bit more expensive than anything we've used recently. I'd have to check with Audrey but I'm fairly certain it's all produced in Italy. It looks absolutely beautiful in person.

Do I really need another Kawasaki though? The answer is...yes.
