geeeez. and I thought 'When It Begins' was pricey. At least with that I kinda understand the gallery needs their chunk of the profits. But direct from AK, $270 is insane. A year ago she was charging about $150-$170 for that dimension/run.

maybe it's that UK boy of her's she's seeing. I guess we get to pay for the airfare. All she needs to do is date me and then doesn't need to raise print prices. total win win 8)

Her last two (limited) releases through her site were Offering and Deep Waters.

Offering is 18x18 and was $230. That's 70.9 cents per square inch.

Deep Waters is 30x20 and was $270. That's 45 cents per square inch.

Manic is 16.75x30 and is $270. That's 53.7 cents per square inch.

Seems well within her normal range to me?

In fact, "She Who Dares," which was from 2008 and 21"x18", went for $275, which works out to about 72.75 cents per square inch, so Dsanacore is right, this is definitely within her normal price range.

I'm totally going to start rationalizing my print buying based on per square inch... Seems really cheap at only 53.7 cents per square inch.

It's no MurMur, but I'm going to half heartedly go for it. Won't pout if I miss out.

+1... was it just me or was the framing option choices backwards? Yes didn't charge you the extra and No did charge you.... I put yes, since it was the cheaper option.
