We have finally found something that even David Choe may not be able to afford yet. It has been reported by Vanity Fair that in 2011, the royal family of Qatar purchased Paul Cezanne’s painting The Card Players from the estate of George Embiricos for $250 million. That is the highest known price that has ever been paid for a work of art. They apparently outbid both Larry Gagosian and William Acquavella for the privilege of buying the piece. The oil-rich collectors have been on a cultural spending spree as of late to fill the walls of their museums and it only looks to be escalating. Start getting used to hearing about more stories like this one.

Eh, their grandchildren will be unloading them all in less than 100 years once the oil runs out.

This is true. Especially once America produces more oil, we'll be less dependent on others. The Bakken in ND, is producing more and more everyday. http://www.bakkenoil.org/ And the soon to be boom here in Colorado with the Green River Formation. http://www.eccos.us/index.php?option=co ... 0&Itemid=6
pay via paypal, use credit card, file dispute at the 20 day mark if suspicious. don't deal with noobs. don't trade with noobs. request feedback ahead of time. there are lots of good people 'round here.

If you think the only thing they are buying is art, think again. Yea more dirty oil shale from CO, America is number 1, same old story less dependent on foreign oil bullshit! Most of western colorado is already polluted with the big money payoff that was hydraulic fracking, which polluted the water and is now flowing off the CO plateau toward the colorado river.
