Beautiful work! Remember the Deathly Hallows concept from the empire magazine posters Olly did.

but which one, the OG wand or the elder wand?! Hopefully not the elder wand, since its in the white tomb... and would attract lots of unwanted attention to him!

Checking the images, proportionally it works as a 24x36, 18x24 would require cropping...

I kind of think that a 12x36 with all of them could be cool. Maybe not.

Yes, it was one of the Empire magazine covers:

^ That was cool, but the book cover is perfect, IMO. The new image is the idea fully realized. So well-illustrated, more personal emphasis on Harry, while also being consistent with the rest of the covers. So good.

And everything had to be approved and signed off, but actually not much was changed overall. Usually big jobs like this can be quite restrictive but all the notes were super reasonable and overall the project was a real pleasure. I only had three weeks to finish the whole thing!
Why only three weeks? Arbitrary deadline or they just wanted to refresh the covers in time for holiday purchases?

Also, I hereby dub these covers, 'Pottermoss'.
