we need an update steve!!
pay via paypal, use credit card, file dispute at the 20 day mark if suspicious. don't deal with noobs. don't trade with noobs. request feedback ahead of time. there are lots of good people 'round here.
Got a message from Steve and it sounds like real life stuff took priority and he's no longer involved with the bar. I wish him nothing but the best.

Unless he was really loaded or had financial backers, then it had to be a bad investment. I loved it as much as the next collector, but posters do not bring patrons in to drink. Hopefully he can bounce back and keep the remarkable collection of framed artwork.

I didn't get the impression that he built the bar around the idea of finding a clientele that really wanted to drink alcohol surrounded by rock posters.lazk wrote:Unless he was really loaded or had financial backers, then it had to be a bad investment. AH HA HA HA HA HA! you guys are too much. it was an awesome experience and you'd be amazed to know that i actually recouped my meager investment AND was able to walk away with all 70 of my pieces (and they were framed). half of those had to be relinquished (see other post) but bottom line, i didn't lose any money, gained the greatest education ever as how NOT to run a bar/restaurant (because i was forced to be more involved than i wanted to) and left with all my fudge.

Our main concern here was that you're ok, man.
Glad to hear things worked out and that you're kicking around down in Indy! Beers soon, dude.
