Mr Brainwash Miami - Conference Call Tonight
What's the difference between this 1/1 and a print from the 1st edition xx/50? There seems to be none. Of course, all are unique due to the extensive hand-finishing, but still, I don't get the interest in paying double what a 1st ed. goes for, to get the same product, just numbered 1/1 instead. Plus I find it shady from him to keep producing prints of a run that should be closed at 50 pieces, not unlimited similar 1/1 to come out in the future. Le Bistro, for example, is all screenprinted. If he wants to release a 1/1 with the graffiti in the background all spray-painted, there's your OG. But the Pollock?
Is it dated 2011 or 2009?

Always been a favorite image of MBW to ME and IMO not a terrible price compared to a 1500-2k priced Cover Girl from an edition of 95.
jes sayn
btw anyone can contact me if they would like to buy my cover girl now
I agree 100%; Glad I paid $250 back in the daytranito wrote:What's the difference between this 1/1 and a print from the 1st edition xx/50? There seems to be none. Wanda: I can't stand people. I hate them. Do you hate them?
Henry: No, but I seem to feel better when they're not around.

this pic is funny, because obviously someone does care enough to spray this on a wall. LOL If they didn't care they would not take the time to tag this about mbw. I loved seeing it everyday while in miami.biscocrack420 wrote:This is right outside the MBW exhibit

wow every piece? Good Lord....
True Story, Mbw only had two offical video guys (me being one) I did not interview you and I know the other guy didn't because he does not interview people. So whoever you spoke to was jus someone with a camera..My guess would be some person documenting Art Basel but sure they are not from mbw camp.southerngarden wrote:I guess this guy is coming to Miami and wants to buy everyone some MBW garbage???
True story: outside of the MBW installation, two nights ago, two of MBW's cronies stopped to do an interview with me. They wanted to know what I thought of the art I had just seen. This is what I asked them: "how many pieces in there did MBW actually touch besides signing them?" The cronies seemed confused by my question, turned the camera off, and told me: "very few."
