Good cause, interesting story behind it, and fraud protection through Amex.

Ordered one of each book. The stamps got here unscathed last time, so I have hope with this. And it's money to a good cause anyway.

I have a credit card account that allows me to generate one time virtual credit cards without any fees. Saved my butt once so far. Not going to name the bank, but it's one of the big names. Guessing other big banks offer the same service.

I have Amex platinum - Zero drymounts for something like this. It’s not like I’m giving them title to my home or brokerage account info.Codeblue wrote: ↑Sat Feb 24, 2024 2:47 pmYa'll never heard of privacy.com or the like huh.waywardvaga007 wrote: ↑Fri Feb 23, 2024 10:21 pmGood cause, interesting story behind it, and fraud protection through Amex.

I choose not to live in a constant state of fear or paranoia about my digital footprint. It is what it is… since the 80’s. Market to me all you want, it has the reverse effect.
Again, zero drymounts.

That’s also back when we carried both iPods and cell phones. I think automobile navigation systems (if you were even fancy enough to have it) were dependent on DVD’s too.jojobadass wrote: ↑Sat Feb 24, 2024 8:57 pmI had to do weird fudge with my credit card back in the POW days to buy Banksy/invader prints

Chase Business and Amex never failed me on a POW or invader drop.
If you guys use chrome and are signed in and have a credit card saved the browser itself will offer to create a virtual card for you based on the one that is stored.

Ya must not use that cc for auto pay on anything. Having to change cc's on auto pay can be a pita.waywardvaga007 wrote: ↑Fri Feb 23, 2024 10:21 pmI have Amex platinum - Zero drymounts for something like this. It’s not like I’m giving them title to my home or brokerage account info.
