It's interesting that, based on data from:

https://banksy-value.com/index.php

the gap is widening between the 'top' tier prints, such as Choose Your Weapon, Stop and Search, No Ball Games, Nola, etc. and 'low' to 'mid' tier, for example, Sale Ends, Color Trolleys, etc. When we were all bumping along at $3k or so per print, it wasn't so pronounced, but now it's literally tens of thousands.

Stunning how much the Banksy market has changed, particularly during the pandemic.

I bought IFTL like 5 years ago for $5k. It’s now worth $60k?

Here's the source for a lot of those prices.

I remember the ol' days on the Banksy forum where there was a reasonably popular opinion that unsigned prints wouldn't be worth much in the future.

If it's Unsigned, yep. If it's signed, more like $80k.

I wonder why they jumped so much when the pandemic started.

I'm also curious how many people here have print collections nearing the $1M mark with some Banksy's pushing that. I'm not looking for a real answer but I bet there are a few.

government checks

it would be my opinion that the increase has to do with people having more time, thus more people got into the hobby or more focused on things wanted- since Covid has brought death to the forefront, people realize you're not taking that money with you !!
