Oh yeah, sorry, I forgot. Not that surprised since we don’t discuss politics anymore and don’t validate our political and social issues views on an art “forum”.

think the idea was to keep the political conversations centered around art... rather than drifting of as such conversations sometimes tend to...

If you miss the Politics thread, bookmark this post, go back and visit it when you get nostalgic:

Which leads me to my next point:

Go drymount yourself.

^ Luls. That’s quite a bit more aggressive than “shut up, dummy”, lol. What else is new though. The sentiment is mutual, btw. And no, I don’t miss it much. Waiting for fredo to chime in with his just as strong of an opinion.

I get why it was done. Two of the threads there were a complete shitshow. I don’t necessarily agree with how it was dealt with. The COVID thread definitely didn’t deserve to be deleted as it didn’t belong there in the first place and that one I miss.

Regardless, my comment was more of a jab to the “validation of political views on an art forum” comment in the obey thread a few days ago, a thread dedicated to a person whose art is about politics and social issues for the most part. This particular thread and dude’s art altogether wouldn’t even exist if it wasn’t for these topics. And look at the discussion!
