There's another one listed on Ebay with Banksy 03 as the sig....
I'm not knowledgeable on the subject, but does that seem legit?
Sometimes the same print can have 2 different years dating on them. For example, I know for a fact that for Girl with Balloon there are some dated 2004 and some dated 2005. Directly from Pest Control...
Thank you for your email. This is a print released over 04 and 05. Your print was released and signed in 2005.
Kind regards

I wouldn't put a lot of stock in the 03 one either. Another water damaged print with a cone that also doesn't match up and a questionable stamp from another low-feedback seller from Escondido... And this one has rough black edges too. In case anyone is actually thinking about bidding on these things, here's a genuine authenticated one from Bonham's for reference.
Geez, the differences are so numerous it's comical.
I'm not someone else.

There really can be differences though. For example I have seen some Girl with Balloons signed on the left. Some signed on the right. Some with the POW stamp on different sides. And even some with no actual POW embossed stamp at all. But all were totally legit with verifiable Pest Control cert.

Not really.

it looks like it's up for auction in a "real" auction house now.

Is this a legit auction house? Ever bought anything from them before? I'm always hesitant buying from Paddle 8 and other like places. For some reason I always think they are selling knock-offs. They seem to offer up Warhol and Picasso every other week. And at not very expensive prices either.

I really like Live Auctioneers and have had really good experiences with them before. However, they do aggregate auction houses and there are bound to be some irresponsible ones in the mix. I thought about bidding on this but there are FAKE banksys in this auction and a couple other questionable pieces. I'd verify it with PC before submitting a bid.

Planning on it.
The owner of that rat is doing big things for the street art scene here in Nashville.
We've got some big names coming to do murals over the summer; Hush, Rone, Herakut, Curiot, and others. We're really looking forward to it!
