I’ve said it and I’ve read it from a few others here that they don’t think Amy Sol get’s the love (if you will  ). But I’m noticing a few more people mentioning her these days. So I’m starting a dedicated thread for her, as she exhibits quite a bit and has a good few print releases each year. And also deserves a dedicated thread in my book :D ! So instead of starting single threads whenever anything is released, we can just discuss everything Sol related in this one thread.

So, further to Xander’s thread about Tuesdays double drop( http://forum.expressobeans.com/viewtopi ... 32&t=77216 ) I propose this thread, for news and drop details going forward... a bit like the McCarthy one.

I would ask only one thing though. No posting of the pre sale links in the thread when you get them from Amy. Let the mailing list subscribers get first dibs on those, as per Amy’s wishes. Just post the store link to the official drop if that’s cool.

Right, hopefully this takes off... or it’ll be me in here by myself talking to the walls

Oh and on the off chance that anyone from the Sol camp swings by, can you make this the next print please

I'll chime in here, I am starting to become more and more of a fan of Amy's work I think she's an artist that may be an acquired taste. If anyone hasn't seen it they should head over to (disclaimer; I'm not associated with them in any way, I just purchased this work and like it a lot, not trying to advertise for them):

And check out that piece. It's something that's quite different from the other works that Amy has been turning into limited editions and on the plus side it comes already framed very nicely and ready to hang. I've just recently started collecting and it was my first buy and it's still my favorite from my limited collection.

I like the two prints in her current offering but I'm going to take a pass on them, for some reason Lover's Loch looks like it's leaning to the right as you go from bottom to top of the page and now that my brain has seen it like that I can't seem to unsee it. :(

That’s lovely :D ! Can’t stretch to it at the moment unfortunately :( ! Spent a load on prints this month... including Tea Leaves and Lovers Lock. They should look amazing hanging next to each other though.

I'm definitely liking the work she 's been putting out, very much. The only reason I didnt pick up either of the dropped on Tuesday was price. I found them priced a little too high for my comfort level.

Beautiful work though - and if that image above is ever printed up , I think I'd have to go for it.

same thing for me, i really want to buy that amy sol drawing, but most of my money is being set aside to get stampede framed. i did buy brambles and lovers loch a little more than a week ago, though, and i'm going to frame them next to each other

thx for this thread, lomier66!

No but to be honest I was not expecting to hear anything before the new year though. Worth the wait on Amys prints, they ship them amazingly well. :D

I suppose you might get something if you’re in the US. Just takes that little bit longer for us over here in the UK to get stuff delivered.

Your gf has good taste :D

I think this is the fastest shipping of any of her prints I've ordered. So excited!
