I got:
Watch This...Watch What? Test Print- My #1

Charade - My #4

The Last Starfighter- Which I've never seen and had to look up just now but hey that's a mystery tube for you!

Viddy Well, Little Brother

The Wampa Sign, which is rad

And like an 8x10 (haven't measured) crop of Bergman's face from the Notorious Poster- which I almost included on my list but left off because there's already a 30x40 Notorious Poster hanging in my apartment. But pretty great for an extra.

A pile of stickers.

The Watch This...Watch What looks great for a 'test', the metallics look fantastic, and the back side has just the black outlines of the print along with the silver layer of the District 9 print. I wish there was a cool way to display both sides...
Holy crap, that sounds awesome! So, is that the "Watch This... Watch What?" on pearl paper that NE mentioned? I'm guessing not, because of the District 9 layers on the back... Either way, you're going to have to share pics of that one! The Notorious "handbill" sounds really cool, too!

Both of mine arrived yesterday, and I pulled everything out to let them breathe for a day before flattening them tonight... I haven't looked closely at everything, but I definitely got 3 from my list (and knew there wasn't a chance for one I mentioned because NE told me he had none left), AND I got something that's just going to have to wait for pics to be explained

Ugh, that sucks... I have no idea why they got so delayed over the Veterans' Day break, and also no idea why tracking never gets updated (especially if these were shipped Priority, that makes me think regular scannings). Hopefully they will show up soon!

My second tube is also lost. Mentioned it to N.E., he said a lot of people were having trouble with their tubes for some reason. Maybe one of the postal workers put a bunch of them in incorrectly.

Well they sent them out as parcel post which, considering we all paid shipping charges, seems a little on the "cheap" side. But it would explain the delay some people are experiencing.

Hey guys,

Sorry about the shipping delays. Everything was mailed on the 6th with an expected arrival around or before the 12th. Some of the packages were mailed priority and some were mailed standard post. In this instance, I am not sure if the method they were shipped is the biggest issue because even some of the priority tubes have not arrived as of yet. I am not sure what is going on over at the USPS. Again, I apologize for any delay. If you want the tracking number feel free to email me with your city and zip code and I will look it up for you.

For those who have their tubes in hand, I hope you enjoy the prints and found the Mystery Tube a worth while purchase. I tried my best to get everyone a least one print on their list. (Unless of coarse you only listed Prometheus) I also included some prints in the tubes that I had not originally planned on to keep things interesting.

Thanks,

NE

Best mystery tube I've bought. I've only ever bought three, but still. Very cool that you let us send a list like that.

...wait a minute here, you are talking to me

I didn't get Prometheus but I'm honestly VERY happy with my Mystery Tube. The Pulp Fiction Variant you included is an amazing print, man your utilization of subtle metallic ink colors is awesome in it.

The USPS is the USPS and exactly why I purchase insurance with every print I ship. You just never know what you are going to get with them.

I'm definitely excited for your next Mystery Tube sale, even it isn't for another 4 years :)

Just got my stuff unrolled... sweet merciful crap

Back shortly with pics, I don't think a list will do it all justice.

Also must echo this:

OK... first of all, I should apologize in advance if I have built this up to be more than it is. I, however, am absolutely thrilled with what I got. I've been in contact with NE about a handful of things after the tubes went on sale, and he teased a few details about what was in my tubes.

So, to start, here was my original list:

1) Special Order 937
2) I Am Iron Man
3) Nosferatu
4) Metropolis
5) Charade

I knew I wouldn't be getting my #1, because NE said he didn't have any copies of that left (other than a test he mentioned that he wasn't including in any of these). NE also mentioned that he would do what he could to match my number from the last sub (#25). It just so happened that I opened these in what I'm calling the "correct" order (as the pics will hopefully show).

Here is the first one:

Green Destiny (#25/85), Nosferatu - Wine (#25/25), Mr. Smith Goes to Washington (AP #1/2), plus the Batman and Wampa sign prints created for the tube sale (each #25/50), stack of stickers, and a Joker card (actual playing card with a purple backing, possibly Dark Knight related)

Image

Now, the second, which I will share in pieces:

Charade Variant (#28/30), I Am Iron Man (Printer's Proof #2/10)

Image

This tube also had a hand-written note from NE saying that I got "the crazy stuff in this tube." One of the things that he teased in an email was that there were a couple one-of-a-kind prints in my stuff. I'm assuming this was one: Pulp Fiction Line Art (Test, no #):

Image

I also got this little jewel, a "process test" for the hand-finished "That's A Big Twinkie" print (which was my first New Flesh purchase way back when, and probably the second or third screen print I ever bought). Ghostbusters is my favorite movie, I totally dig this thing...

*EDIT* I had emailed NE yesterday before posting all this, and he replied and clarified a couple things. This is actually the piece that he "normally wouldn't show anyone, let alone give away." So, given my bit of history with this print, that makes it even more awesome!

Image

Lastly, NE said that this one was made just for fun and because he thought it would look cool. He was totally right; this is titled "Danger Marla" on the back:

Sorry for all the pics! But seriously, best mystery tube sale ever  :pint:

Still ISO New Flesh Metropolis, though :P
