I got this for Xmas. Probably overkill, but made this framing job much, much easier. Just know you need to have a way to get the level up high - thankfully I had bookshelves that I could move around and put books on to get it to the right height. Tripod would work (if it goes tall enough, mine didn't); and the level has a magnet built in.

Thanks all for the compliments. If I get my office cleaned up this weekend, I may bust out the real camera and get some pics to post.
