Thanks. It's ridiculous how much work one print is, from the commission to receiving it, as well as how many bumps can occur along the way. I cannot begin to fathom the amount of work Mondo does.

Makes it that much more satisfying to finally have it realized, though.

Which version do you guys prefer? Jungle or thermal?

I know what you mean re: how much work goes into a commission, been trying a few myself.

I love the jungle version. The bar has been set for Predator imho, and its set at "sky high".
Congrats to everyone, Gabz you nailed it. :notworthy:

Just based on the insanity of that GID later, I'd wanna see that thermal layer in the flesh. But that jungle is still amazing. Either way you win.

The vibrancy of the GID is insane. We turned off the lights to expect a moderate GID, but it is bright.

This thing looks ridiculous! :notworthy: :notworthy:

I am a little bitter that it's a private commission but we can't have them all. With that being said, congrats on the commission and can't wait to see the pics of the real deal!

True... if this was for a wide release, I'm sure I would miss on the drop anyway

And as I mentioned earlier, I think I prefer the thermal. I love the jungle as well, but for a Predator piece that thermal just flat-out works.

Congrats, guys, awesome work all around

I love the thermal variant, but bummed I can't get one. It's a killer piece and congratulations.

Yes.

Regular – Metallics: Dark brown, green, red.

Variant – Metallics: Light steel-blue, dark steel-blue, gold.

When choosing Pantones I decided to mix metallics w/ non-metallics to give it a greater sense of depth. We actually ran a number of tests to determine the best print-combination—it was quite the process.

Oh you are right....sorry but I just skimmed through real quick. I think my bitterness got the best of me.

I will now revisit to enjoy the print from afar!

Edit: To answer the question, I like the regular...I feel this way about most prints plus I am not all into GID layers.

Looking over these Predator pics makes me want Gabz to do so much more...he is becoming one of my favorite artist.

Honestly, I would love to see him make an Alien/Aliens print! As my son would say, it would be EPIC! And of course, a Gangs of NY piece!
