“But as Garcia said, you know, the '60s ain't over till the fat lady gets high. And that means that whatever it takes to get you high: sometimes grief, sometimes it's prayer, fasting. I prefer a joint.”-Ken Kesey
Been listening to them since 6th grade....love the wide range of music theyve produced....glad to finally see them getting more love past decadeBrowntrout wrote:Well in the venues that have assigned seats yes, but GA shows especially in NY are insane, as a matter of fact at the Roseland show last Fri, Les asked the crowd to move back cause those in the front were getting crushed. The pit was no joke either lots of teenage Primus fans eager to blow off some steam. I was in the balcony & had a great view.considerately wrote:Oh, come now. It's only Primus, not Biohazard or Mudvayne or something.
Primus' music and stage presence is mostly fun from what I've seen and heard.

And I grabbed a slater Variant last night, so if anyone is looking for a slater show edition let me know, I somehow managed to get home with it in minty condition.

cool read...i was at that first NOLA Oysterhead show in 2001 and Les is right, some parts were a total train-wreck but other parts were pure magic! Les is really funny on stage and his interactions with Trey and Stu were classic....i really wish i could catch one of these Primus shows on this current tour...come down to FL you drymounters!

Although they did play the Florida Theatre in Jacksonville not too long ago. The Dead Kenny G's opened, I drank some good beer, and got to hear some Frizzle Fry. Badass.

Any speculation as to who the artist is gonna be Tuesday night for the Michigan show?
It'll be my first time seeing them. Snagged front row tix. Totally geeked!
