I like to think of the sub as an investment my past self made for future me.
One day new awesome Shaw art will appear at my doorstep and I will thank past me.
Wait aside, I'm happy with what I have received so far.

Jay will come through.

He's always gotten right back to me when i emailed him with questions.

Looking forward to the next shipment even if it is the final shipment.
When it all comes down to it, it's just paper.

Nah, I'm seriously not worried about it. The guy has hooked me up, I can be patient.

Just a heads up for the fellow Shaw fans. I'm offering up this in my FS post.

JAY SHAW - Mystery 16 Pack!
16 prints. No guesses. Only hint I will give, some from Don''t go out Tonight, G1988, and even 9th Circle. This will be shipped FLAT, only in the U.S. for this reason. Estimated $40 to ship + $260 = $16/print!
$300

http://forum.expressobeans.com/viewtopi ... 0&t=133561

Like to clarify a few things since I'm getting pm's. Some of these I originally paid $30-$40 for each right from the shows. One print alone is worth $70+ and in high demand from Jays backlog of art. Since I''m shipping this flat, I always use wood since it's proved effective every time I've prepared a flat mailer. Cost of materials is about $20 just to ship and I'm not even including that in the price break down BUT if I did it works out like this.

$20 materials / $35-$40 ship = $60 ....so $240 in print cost alone divided by 16 = $15 a print!

Keep in mind one of those is worth $70+ just by itself. This isn't a fudge stack either, some top choices from the Don't go out Tonight gallery show at Mondo and other bits of Nonsense. For the record this is nothing against Jay. I love Jay. I've met him multiple times and talked each others faces off every time. I simply don't have the room for everything and yeah I need the money. I figured a legit sale sure as hell beats a fundraiser asking people to solve my hospital woes for me when I have some ammo still in my gun to handle my own business.

----

Oh yeah and been talking to Jay, 9th Circle is far from dead. I'll see if I can get his permission to share what I know here soon.

What ever happened to the Psycho print (I think it was Psycho) that Jay supposedly did for the Hitchcock show?

Yes, at least there will be one once Jay has the time to do it. It was supposed to be part of Gallery 1988's Hitchcock tribute show, but I believe things didn't go quite right with Jay's first printing. But sorry to tell you that you're S.O.L. if you'd like to get one because I think Jay said he was only going to make 12 of these (12 Angry men), and they've already been spoken for by those of us who put our names down for it at the opening of the show at G1988.

It's an edition of 12 and all will be going to the gallery.

My thought indeed, if any of them get printed that will be my first, second, and third pick.
Any update on this print? Or any update from the series. I do hope it will be soon. Oh well, IJ will deliver.
The book they're all printed in was apparently released recently. I've yet to pick it up myself, though: http://www.amazon.com/dp/1844037746/ref ... WEDOEMVUE0
Thanks!
Does anyone have a picture of this Star Trek piece?

Thinking about selling my KON prints/membership in one lot. Don't really know how much, should I go off of the average for each and round it out?
