well, we know he did the general poster that the VIP people get with that package, but the jury is still out on this one

Scored the Munk One VIP poster for $40. by hovering around the VIP desk & asking someone who doesn't groove to posters. S/N'd but the strange thing is while it's signed (651 in pencil ) there is no edition # next to it just a #. Signed in gold marker. Nice poster.

I think the Angry Blue & Soto posters are leading the field so far but expect them to get knocked down when they heavy hitters show up.

I'd maybe take one of those, but maybe they'll have extras at the end of the tour.

It looks like Chris Robinson is Jesus and Layne Staley is the devil.

I was at the Mansfield show and thought that the Hampton poster was terrible. I wouldn't have paid $10 for it never mind $30.

i hear ya. I would have done the same. If the gig specific poster is garbage, I might just pick up the wolves tour poster after the show and focus on finding a good spot to stand.

BTW I know that Mansfield is tough to judge because the posters were not many people's cup of tea but they had stacks upon stacks of posters when I was leaving. I think I saw one person walking out with a poster at the venue. I went with 6 people and not one of them bought a poster.

nice to see my pic make it over here! Thanks for posting it, sorry bout the crappy quality (have a phone from like 2005, lol). Poster was $30 at the show, and the rumors about no tubes are true. Awesome show

ETA: Print is 17x24

they had a separate Mars Volta-specific print for sale -- also $30, and not too good IMO. (I don't even think it was a screenprint, didn't look too closely though)

Btw, the lead singer for MV was hilarious :rolling:
