it is part of the proper terminology of the word.
Kind of like capitalizing the first word in a sentence ... ? Sometimes we're just too lazy to use the right keystrokes.

I believe what he means is that the original post asked;
octopus wrote:Just curious to know if your choice goes to particular printing process I.e: lithography, screen prints, offset, giclees...
Then people started posting lists of the artists in their collections, essentially boasting about how many of whoever they have....thereby 'whacking off' over their respective collections. 8)

Bullshit ... revealing what is in your collection reveals whether you collect giclees, screenprints, or both (sorry downtown ... no offense). What people say and what people do are often very different. I have more Santora prints than any other artist, and his screen printing is second to none. Yet I also have a significant collection of giclees by Esao Andrews and Jeremy Geddes, so it is clear that I swing both ways. From this, you can deduce that when I say the image is more important than the process, I'm not blowing smoke. Assuming that we are well enough informed to know which artists tend to use which process, I find the lists to answer the original question better than could be accomplished through the usual philosophical masturbation that accompanies open ended questions like the one asked in this thread. In fact, the lists also reveal whether collectors swing both ways vis-a-vis gig posters versus art prints, which is interesting in its own right. So ... I'll take another long swig of Tito vodka and regret submitting yet another post.

Lots of tabs were dropped Wednesday night at the Phish Alpharetta show, in the thunderstorm. Were they from your blotter sheet, river? IF so, that's why there's not much left of your sheet :P
I always defer to someone who's wearing a beater, regardless of what else he's wearing.
