i've been waiting for 3 week for something from america. and a fellow member is waiting a similar time for something i have sent. sadly it went regular airmail by mistake. but still, doesnt mean it shouldnt arrive. anyone noticed really long delays? did someone try and post anthrax or crash a plane again or something? noticed things get worse this year. alot worse.

I've had two packages lost recently, or on a really bad delay, coming from the UK.

I recently sent something priority mail from USA to Canada and it took 3 weeks. So I wouldn't worry just yet.

I've been getting posters from the States for a couple of years now and sometimes they can take as little as 5 days but on other occasions I've waited for 6 weeks before they've arrived. I think customs have definitely knuckled down on stuff recently though so that might be why things are taking longer. Also, it really depends what courier is being used. I find Parcel Force are really slow.

Yes and No.

I had 2 things arrive yesterday that were sent on the 27th of May. I also got something from P&T that was sent on the 25th and arrived on Wednesday.

I'm still waiting on something else that was sent 3 weeks ago, though.

Yes and no here as well.

Shipment to the US from UK - yes. But they have all been sent via First Class.

Shipments to the UK from US - no. But I only send them Priority and Express. I don't chance First Class with prints.

packages have arrived in a reasonable amount of time, however the last tube I had come to me from the UK took forever.

I've had some pretty gnarly times with stuff coming from the UK. I would say 3 weeks isn't long enough to panic yet (unfortunately).

^Agree. I would say start worrying around week 5/6. I've had some arrive in a week. Average seems to be 7 - 10 days. I have one hung up right now. But it's only been 2 1/2 weeks.

I just bought a print from Dark City Gallery and I was informed by them that there could be a delay in getting my print. The email said something about the usps still carrying out security checks on international parcel.

man 3 weeks is more or less the norm to glasgow from the states...i notice smaller tubes seem to take a lot less, maybe a week to ten days, some of the bigger tubes usually take at least 3 weeks. I have noticed customs are pickin up on a lot more tubes, i've been hit twice this month...thank feck for the heroes who accidentally get the value of the tube wrong (no names mentioned hehe)

Last one I shipped arrived in 6 days total. The one before got into customs in 3 days. It sat there for 5 days, then took another 13 days to be delivered. Sounds like the UK po sucks.

I think it's got to do with temporarily increased security measures taken by the US.
If whatever you're sending weighs over 500 grams the US will not allow it to enter the country by airplane.
Therefore your postal service will have to look for other means of transportation to enter US territory.
