When I'm done ranting about elite power that rules the planet under a totalitarian government that uses the media to keep people stupid, my throat gets parched. That's why I drink Orange Drink. - BH
Not good, I wouldn't think. Though they have several other prints for sale on the site, all printed by BoNA. Don't know if Bannon will have any of his own.Codeblue wrote:Odds they know how to pack/ship?

Looks great with the full bleed. That's a rarity for his prints. Too bad I hesitated. They're gone now. I'm sure Bannon will have APs for a slight markup though.

If you haven't already seen it, here's a good read about J's take on the album and the creation of The Downward Spiral print, https://www.revolvermag.com/culture/con ... er-artwork

Surprisingly competent shipping, though the untaped kraft roll will certainly leave some damaged. Print is somewhat underwhelming.Kramerica wrote:Not good, I wouldn't think. Cool interview "On multitasking, craftsmanship, and letting go of your work", https://thecreativeindependent.com/peop ... your-work/
Interesting to hear J's approach to accomplishing his passions. Especially since it's always been a struggle for me to pursue mine satisfactorily. Jorge (Gamboa) recently shared with me his approach to painting, I admire his discipline.

J. Bannon "Destroyer of Worlds: Moenkopi Unryu" Print
"Destroyer of Worlds" is my mixed media interpretation of Godzilla "The King of the Monsters" (ゴジラ, Gojira). The type on the right portion of the piece reads "I have become Death, the Destroyer of Worlds" in proper Japanese Kanji. The piece was originally created for the Holy Kaiju Art show at Holy Mountain Printing in Raleigh, NC. There were 3 originals made using a mix of ink, gouache, acrylic, and collage on mylar, later mounted to plywood.
Due to demand I've made a new run of these prints. New versions will be released randomly throughout 2020.
Moenkopi [moe-in-koe-pee] papers are made at the Awagami Factory in Tokushima, Japan. Literally translated as "cloud dragon paper", Moab Moenkopi Unryu paper is made by adding long course fibers to a wet layer of Kozo (mulberry) fiber on the mold. It is a highly decorative paper which is perfect for adding depth to a print. Please note it is VERY light and delicate. This version is limited to 20 prints only, all signed and numbered by myself.
Dimensions: 36" W X 18" H
Stock: Moab Moenkopi Unryu
Edition: 20, signed, numbered, embossed
Artist Proof: 10, signed, embossed
