This thread seems to have been hi-jacked, its suppose to be about Alien Corset - and the fact that some us dont always receive his prints as he doesn't ship them - not cause they got lost in the post ! Maybe the mods can open a thread about international shipping. Enough of it here please.

NOW. Is anyone still awaiting Alien Corset prints from the last batch? I am trying to acertain if there are other people in the UK who still have to receive their last orders. My ordered on the 18th Nov still not arrived and its 3 days away from paypal deadline - which obviously is worrrying - and as usual no reply to emails from the Daniel's.

Well said.

As far as your prints are concerned, I'd go ahead and make your case to Paypal right away.

File it now. Any more time you wait will just be wasted.

100% agree. (I think this an interesting conversation though. Just should not be on O'Daniels fine posters and the problems that have occurred with getting them from the artist to the buyer).

Nothing, no order confirmation, no tracking number, no reply to emails, filed my dispute 20 days after purchase (3 weeks ago) still nothing not even a reply through Paypal. It will escalate to a claim today.
Don't let your 45 days pass I did it once after being assured everything would be fine. I turned out that it wasn't fine.
Mail coming from the U.S. to Ireland usually takes a 5 to 7 days. Late or slow 10 - 14 days anything after that there is normally a problem. I would assume those time frames are good for the U.K. too.
Cover yourself don't let it turn into a drama all the artists seem to be nice people but they are running businesses and some are run better than others that's all it is.

I'm waiting till today's post comes then I'm filing it as if it doesn't come today its not gonna come by the deadline of the 1st Jan. I know there is something wrong with this order as Paul King down South of England got his batch on 18th Dec, so really mine should have been a day or two behind - or before - but not 10 days !

I always get my O'Daniel prints after the 45 day period......that's just the way it is, he's busy.

and you pussies are suggesting putting in a paypal claim after just 20 days?

You obviously have a special relationship with the poster gods...but hey, less of the pussies. I'm talking of doing it the day before the deadline so as not to lose out, $200 plus is a lot to use. Listen, when you have been burnt twice in the past then one doesn't want to take chances. All the worry would be eliminated if the guy kept in touch with his customers who were experiencing severe delays or if he made sure he sent out shipping notices like other artists do - so at least one knows they have been sent and they were now in the hands of the postal gods ! In my case, its strange that someone down the road from me who ordered their posters on the same day, received them some 11 days ago - to me its a sign they ain't been posted yet!

To be honest, I'd rather not file a paypal dispute at all as it leaves a sour taste which is why I am leaving it to the very last minute, but I just not prepared to take the chance - I can't afford to lose that money .. if ony they would reply !

I'm jumping into this 'conversation' without having read a ton of the previous posts, but it seems to me that there is a problem that's far wider in scope than David O'Daniel. It deals with shipping packages from the US to other countries. I have read in many, many threads that peeps in the UK and Europe have problems receiving posters, regardless of the artist. It may well be that having multiple carriers and multiple countries involved is at the core of the problem.
I always defer to someone who's wearing a beater, regardless of what else he's wearing.

You keep defending this, but the scale of complaints in this thread prooves that David O'Daniel up to no good. I don't read any of this continuous crap in other artist's threads.
Do you care to explain to me how he's now selling sold out prints that I bought but never arrived? You seem to be acting as a spokesperson, so go ahead.

frankly, I see the same 5 people screaming about this.

I just don't see this as the global pandemic that you all are making it out to be.
