I actually wanted the elton print enough that I emailed them months ago about how to get notifications of releases again and have been checking the site multiple times a day. Been so long that I have actually bought anything from him. Kinda makes me want to take my ball and go home and start getting rid of the stuff I have of his to be honest
Feel the same. Think it's actually easier to buy prints of his off ebay and folks around here, and cheaper too.
pay via paypal, use credit card, file dispute at the 20 day mark if suspicious. don't deal with noobs. don't trade with noobs. request feedback ahead of time. there are lots of good people 'round here.

Tbf it was almost always a pita to buy fudge from him before he had his "proper" site. Some of yall forget. I too have mostly moved on.

I was always very successful buying from him when drops were announced. Now there is no chance unless you set up page monitors and bots which is the frustrating part. Do releases even get announced through his socials?

Homie's art is top notch but I cbf to go chasing his fudge. That plus past transgressions have me looking away.

So Page monitor is only way? Don't want this to turn into a emek bashing thread but appears I am not the only one frustrated by how things have changed

it is so dumb. piss off the people who actually like and display the art for bots. good bizness practices but i don't think emek cares

very true. I'd wager though that it's the prolly the same buyers nearly every print. but why would emek gaf?

feels like a pretty good setup. a core group that will literally buy everything you release knowing that they will make money off most of the prints. you no longer have to worry about marketing or selling. you let these core invest in your prints and let them make a buck too. everyone else can just buy off the secondary market or goto the show. it's like a crowd run gallery. haha.

i think we all understand that. I guess if the artist is only after the money its all cool EMEK sees like that type with the various extra releases of stuff like cyberman

Emek should create a vetted group and send notifications to that group. I would get 1 out of 4-5 when they were announced. Now I have no chance w these random drops

Nice screenprint. I was able to grab one when it was released by Emek and announced in a Facebook collectors group.
