what is the last "cheap" poster you hung just because it is cool?
by "cheap" i only mean that it is super affordable. cheap is a compliment.
my latest pick is:

KZ-9719 Screaming Trees

so happy with this one. i mean look at this guy. how can you not smile when you look at him? :)

the frame was like 20 at hobby lobby (how can you be in a bad mood in that place?, it is therapy)
add some mylar corners and boom!
*attn new people, less than $25 total and it is on the wall!

lol, look at this group:

that is what i am talking about!
ryan posted his garage at one point and it was one of the coolest things i have seen on here

i like archival storage methods and serious frame jobs as much as the next guy, but i like the prints ON THE WALL.

i think some new people get scared off when they hear $500 to frame their new $50 print. if you know you wont sell it, just get it on the wall.

This is modge podged to the top of my flat file

Image

It's signed by the artist, director and half the cast of both films. If it were in a frame I wouldn't be able to admire it as much as I do now :pint:

Edit: ohhhhh affordable. Hmmm... I've got this up with tacks in the studio:

Thumb tacks!! :pint: most of mine are gig posters they were made to hang right! Got tired of not enjoying them knowing these would never be framed:) enjoyed pushing the thumb tacks especially in to the signed ones yes signed and numbered :) Hampton, klausen, sperry, armandochainsawhands,! Don't worry it's not my sperry American artifact screen print, that will be framed it's my massive attack!

I'm gonna pop it in a matching frame and give it to my dad for father's day to go with his copy of Totem II.

$20 frame and some acid free backing. Whoever comes into my basement makes a beeline for it and asks about it. Jason still has a bunch of these direct - he contacted me after seeing an ISO here. I think I only paid $20 for the print too.

I have this up in my kitchen, right above the coffee maker. 4 mounting squares, and it sticks to the wall just fine.

Okay, so what is the Grant Wood "American Gothic" send-up? It looks like the man is holding a poster tube. Anyone know who did that one?

Edit: n/m...found it. It's from Yazoo Mills. I like it

Bought it for like $15 ? when I saw them on their US tour. I actually have it framed, cause I'm a pretty big Gorillaz fan.
