more partial to his father Victor, but strongly agree if you are into Op art (which i am). I think a lot of op art fell out of vogue because the images and processes the movement created were co-opted by the textile industry and have now become almost ubiquitous. It is nice to a see a guy like Carl Cashman bringing it back and bringing something new to the table. If you are looking at a Cashman, you should strongly consider spending a few extra bucks and picking up a Vasarely or an Agam

Awesome stuff on this page.

He was a tattoo artist in Cali (SoCal, I believe), only does an occasional tattoo (I hear he's quite sought after and when he does the occasional tatoo, they aren't cheap) ... I've seen some of his prints (usually giclees) in some random shops around SF ... when I first ran into them I was going to start adding them to the database but never got around to it.
Website, with archives and some prints in the shop ... http://www.sekretcity.com/

Chris Mars' stuff is amazing...however, I'm still searching for that lotto ticket that would allow me to own something by him.
To add to this thread: Robert Bowen - http://www.robertbowenart.com, great painter.

I rarely hold back when it comes to singing the praises of Robert's work ... incredibly talented and a pretty damn cool cat, to boot.bloodthrust wrote:

Thrilled to have one of his paintings on my wall.

Rebecca Guay does some seriously amazing work and doesn't seem to get any attention here(though only offering unlimited editions and OGs I suppose that really shouldn't come as a surprise)

Here are some of my favorites that are SFW
There's a lot of brilliant stuff, particularly at the gallery work site worth checking out that is more generally NSFW.
