looks very 1970's . winterland production put out numorous belt buckles like that , Roger Deans YES being quite popular too

They were made by Pacifica.

In 1977 according to this site: http://pacificabuckles.com/

I believe these are usually sold for approx $200 at ebay. I frequently have a look at pacifica buckles when ebaying, and these don't seem to come around that often. I have no idea what numbers were made of any of the Pacifica buckles.

Not much help, but maybe a start..

I owned a least 10 of these. Back in the day.
