Find me the printer that will to give it a shot, I haven't found one yet.
Pics don't do 'em real justice.
Until you actually hold one of my boards in hand, you just can't grasp the amount of Black & Grey colors or the size of the scratches both of which give screeners probable nightmares.

Just a thought C., but if you wanted to give getting your scratchboards a screening, you might want to talk to Gary Houston about how his get transferred over. I don't see quite as much gradation in his coloring, but he's done some masterful stuff with scratches too. Another option might be to talk to/give D&L a shot - they're more than amazing with a wide array of layered material...

As far as a transfer goes, I scan my scratchboards at 600 dpi and that's far more than enough for any type of printing.
Some folks have said yes but only if we double the size, which defeats all the work I do to create the depth on a board, I think.
So I'm thinking if I could get that guy in NYC that did the 100 color print, then it may work, but I'm sure he's busy as all get out AND too expensive for me.

We'll see I surely have NOT given up on it.
BTW IF I were to finally find the right dude, my Alton Kelley would be first up, & actually that one is a bit on the primitive side for me now.

This IS taking a long time dagnabbit!

This might sound like a stupid question but:

could you send one of the scratch boards to Australia or would it get drymounted up on its way with all the handling?

because i would love one of a kangaroo and an emu (Australian coat of arms)

The only adult in that video is a black guy hanging out with the whitest 12 year olds on the planet.
